Welcome to an area designated a Regional Natural Park !

The Causses du Quercy Park now covers a third of the area of the Lot Département. The Labastide Murat Causse is right in the middle, enabling you to explore all the outstanding features of this designation.

Stars in your eyes…. for a whole night, give yourself the time to observe the stars, in what is known as the “Dark Triangle of Quercy”. Here, the night sky is particularly free from light pollution, and there are “star” villages and places for observing the sky.

A Park, yes, but not only that ! UNESCO has recognised our geological heritage as being of world interest, and we are now part of a UNESCO World Geopark.
